The RICS Home Survey Level 3 Building Survey Report is the fullest level of report and is more extensive than the Level 2 Report. It is generally suitable for;
- larger, older or run-down property, or
- property which may be of unusual or non-standard construction, or
- property which is usually built no later than the early twentieth century (typically 1900 or earlier), or
- property which has been significantly extended or altered, or
- if you’re planning major works.
It costs more than the other Home Survey reports because it gives more detailed information about the structure and fabric of the property and includes advice on repairs.
The Home Survey Level 3 Building Survey does not include an open market valuation or an insurance reinstatement valuation, but these can be provided as a further service.
